Austrian replicator kdg mediatech goes Nordic

Austria, Elbigenalp-based kdg mediatech AG opened a sales office for the Nordic Countries in Denmark on 1 November. Jens-Uwe Eras has been appointed head of strategic solutions.

Previously kdg had mainly operated in Central Europe. As of now, the company’s production and logistics services will be fully supported in the Nordic countries. Søren Keller, a veteran in the industry, will be in charge of leading the new kdg sales office. Keller has worked for DCM, Dicentia and Replicateur in various key roles and is now kdg’s Head of Nordic sales.

kdg supremo Michael Hosp is looking forward to working alongside his Scandinavian team. “Our service now connects north to south and east to west. We already have prior experience of working for customers in the Nordic countries.”

kdg head of sales Jens-Uwe Eras was responsible for preparing the company’s Nordic launch and is set to oversee the exploration of new business fields. As the newly-appointed head of strategic solutions, Eras will also focus on new market requirements and successively develop specific service packages for a wide range of customer demands.

First founded in 1985 as Europe’s third optical media manufacturer, kdg is now a leading independent media services provider in the media and entertainment business. It has manufacturing plants in Austria and France, and operates a sales network throughout Europe.
