The Pavement expands into iPhone Apps

London, Soho-based award-winning authoring and digital production facility The Pavement, boasting a decade in the industry at the forefront of DVD and Blu-ray, is set to increase its already popular mobile content provision with the launch of a new iPhone App development service.

As more than one billion iPhone Apps have been downloaded from the Apple App Store, the specialist in-house team have been developing technologies to custom design and build a range of Apps for the increasingly popular platform.

With more than 50,000 Apps now available to download, the market has seen as 100-fold increase since the platform burst into the mobile telecoms stratosphere in July 2008. “We’re keen to keep up with the market’s and most importantly our clients’ demands,” says The Pavement’s managing director, Andy Evans. “We complement our existing services with the introduction of iPhone App development, ranging from simple marketing products to fully interactive games and gadgets for the iPhone and iPod Touch.”

The Pavement is part of Goldcrest Group, one of the largest film and post production companies in the US and UK.
