German replicator CDA goes green with PRO-EARTH Pack
German replicator CDA Datenträger Albrechts goes green with its PRO-EARTH Pack for DVD and Blu-ray “in response to the increasing demand for environmentally-friendly packaging solutions.”
In autumn last year, CDA set up the project “PRO-EARTH“ in collaboration with a long-term supplier. The result was a packaging alternative made of 100% recycled cardboard and solely printed with water-soluble inks and varnish.
Weighing some 30 grams, the PRO-EARTH Pack is ultra-light and, thus, suitable for mailing and promotion activities. The products can be ordered at short notice and is available for DVD and Blu-ray, with or without inside pocket.
One of Europe’s largest independent manufacturers of optical storage media, CDA invested last year in its own Blu-ray line.
