AGI Amaray changes to ASG Amaray

AGI Amaray, the company that brought the well-known DVD and Blu-ray cases, is changing its name to ASG Amaray, following the merger in January 2012 between AGI World and Shorewood Packaging.

Amaray is the plastics division that hosts a wide range of injection moulding capabilities in addition to thermoforming, assembly and decoration. It was responsible for the creation and manufacture of the world famous Amaray DVD and Blu-ray cases, as well as the unique Red Tag merchandising system.

This rebranding marks a change of focus and direction. The company intends to focus on "bringing its spirit of innovation and world class manufacturing capabilities in Europe and the US to supplying solutions and servicing a wider base of FMCG companies."

The company has injection moulding plants in the USA, Europe, and China together with a wide range of printing facilities that can offer a one-stop shop and a fully integrated packaging solution on a global level.

"ASG aspires to be the best global specialty packaging business within our markets," says the company. Its customers include Body and Bath Works, P&G, L?Oreal, Mary Kay, and Wal-mart.
