Network to move DVD distribution to Sony DADC

As of 9 March 2007 London-based independent DVD label Network will move its distribution from Arvato Entertainment to Sony DADC Ltd.

The decision to change distributors was taken as part of a strategic overview of Network’s distribution while Fremantle Entertainment Sales continue to handle sales for all Network products. Sony DADC already handles Network’s replication.

Network has the rights to over 3,000 TV and film properties in the DVD sector. Its TV catalogue includes Robin of Sherwood, Coronation Street, The Goodies…At Last, The Complete Ripping Yarns and The Persuaders Its film catalogue includes Black Narcissus, the Buster Keaton Chronicles, The Ipcress File, Exotica and Talk Radio.

“Consolidating our replication and distribution at one site gives us extra flexibility in the manufacturing, production and distribution proces," commented Network Managing Director Tim Beddows.
